Yesterday was Easter! I was so busy, I couldn't update. First we went to church on Easter Vigil at 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Then, since Annie and my Mom hadn't gone with the rest of us, we went back to church Easter morning, and we all decided to go to keep Annie and Mom company. So we went 20 minutes before the service began, and the place was already all filled up, except the rectory which they had put chairs in, but that too was filling up. I suggested we hurry and get a seat there, but there were eight open seats that had been given to the lector and the lector's family. So since they had not shown up, the pastoral assistant, Mary Ann, told us to sit there. Then the lector showed up with her family, and told us she only needed four of the seats, so four of us (Mom, Aidan, Annie, and I) sat there, and the other four of us (Dad, Tim, Alfie, and Ian) had to stand up in the back. I didn't like that service at all. For one thing, I hated thinking about them standing up back there, and for another, the lector seats are on the eyes of the whole church, so whenever I looked around, I saw people starring right at me! I hate when they do that. . . . . Anyways, let me get to the reason why my post is titled, 'Easter Bunny?' Yesterday afternoon, at about 5:00 or so, my Mom went to walk Lily and Lola, our dogs. Our dogs are quite defensive of their territory, as all dogs are, and they think everything around them is theirs. So whenever they see a squirrel, cat, or any animal on their ground, they fly into a passion of barking and whimpering, in Lola's case, where it's like she's saying, 'Let me get it, oh PLEASE let me get it!' So I decided to watch from the window, just in case anything came into our yard they would run after. There were the dogs, acting all alert. But on the other side of the yard, something caught my eye. . . There, scampering into our yard was a bunny. If I hadn't ran out the door, and yelled to Mom, 'Look, there's a bunny!' they probably wouldn't have noticed. I mean, LILY probably wouldn't have noticed. Lily started running towards it, and Lola, who didn't even notice Lily's sudden moves, or the scent of the bunny, started towards the house as if nothing had happened. Now, Lily is a careful dog, so she didn't try to run all the way over to it, but she did run down the path a bit, I guess to get a closer look. I then grabbed her, because by now I had run into the yard with only my socks on (luckily there isn't really any snow on the ground here), and picking her up, I took the leash from Mom's hand, which was one of those 16 foot long ones, and I went inside with her. Later, Aidan told me that it was as if I had seen the Easter bunny or something, and I thought maybe I had. . . Anyway, I'll see you later! The Lord is risen! Alleluia! Be happy, y'all!

3 little notes:
I wonder why Lola likes to whimpering so much. I also wonder where the bunny came from?
Annie ;)
That's the first time any of us have seen a bunny in a while. They don't pop up too much, maybe it's a sign of warmer weather?
happy last easter!!!!!!!!!
